Shindou Reigen

Shindou Reigen was an odd child from the beginning.
He was born three minutes after his twin Jurei, and there were remarkable differences between the two.
Jurei, who was born with blue eyes, the color of the clans doujutsu, was predicted that Jurei would the the prodigal son, he would be a powerful ninja and do great things for the ninja world.
Reigen on the other hand, was born with typical black eyes. He had been competitive and aggressive from the moment he was born, always racing or trying to beat his brother.
Reigen was born in Amegakure, he had a wonderful family and a supporting home in Amegakure.
These were times of peace until their neighbor, Sunagakure had declared war on Otogakure. In the wake of the war, Amegakure was launched into chaos, the economy ruined, the political system in ruins after the Kage was killed, and in one of the first battles, Reigens parents were killed in the evacuation of their village.
However, Reigen and Jurei, still babies, were carried to the safety of Sunagakure by their sister.
They were raised there, and grew up knowing nothing of their family other than that they had a remarkable doujutsu called Rikugan.
Years later when the boys were older, Jurei was taken on as a student by a Sage, Reigen was instantly jealous and enraged.
He began to train, and break down his body, he trained for two days straight without eating. His muscles had been broken down, and he rested while the sun rose in the sky.
He had been in the desert for some time, so he was used to watching the sun rise.
But this time it was different, he rose to his feet, and glared at the sun, it seemed to catch his eye, and he could not look away, all his focus was on the sun.
His eyes began to bleed, and he blinked as the sun rose to his exact zenith, a 90 degree angle.
As he stared straight upwards, he blinked once, and his eyes had turned blue with an odd pattern.
He had unlocked the first stage of Rikugan.
He practiced this for the rest of his time training in the desert, which added up to around two weeks.
He worked as hard as he could for those weeks, and he benefited from it.
His body had grown stronger, and he had perfected Rasengan.
Upon his return, the saw all the genin from Sunagakure running to the Arena, he followed them.
It was an early Chuunin exam.
They held a small tournament, Reigen dominated.
His last fight was against Jurei, he thought for sure he would loose, but to his suprise, He had beaten Jurei without using his doujutsu.
The next stage was in the forest, they had been challenged to climb a cliff.
Jurei had been the first to reach the top, and he did so in record time.
Reigen followed behind, and after him, a strange new Genin.
At the end, Reigen was the first to be awarded with the rank of Chuunin, he accepted.
After him, the new Genin had been awarded, he denied the rank, believing he didnt deserve it, he handed in his head band and left, becomming a missing nin.
Jurei, who was next, had denied the rank aswell.
Reigen felt like a fool.
After the exams, Jurei and a few others went into the desert to begin training again, Reigen followed closely behind.
He wandered off to explore, and encountered a strange man.
They exchanged words, and then they began to fight after the man attacked.
Reigen activated his Doujutsu, and the man trapped him once he did.
He was amazed by the doujutsu, and helped Reigen train with it.
He also taught Reigen how to use his Katon element more effectively, but with a price.
He taught Reigen the power of the black flames, but it took a tole.
The ammount of chakra it took to use these undying flames hurt Reigen.
He pushed through the pain, and almost drained his chakra practicing.
Reigen began to realize the power of his doujutsu.
He still felt like a fool for accepting his rank as Chuunin, and blamed it on those who had denied it after him.
He thought they were corrupt and evil, and then the man spoke of the war.
He asked Reigen about his clan, the man remembered his parents. He was one of the men fighting off the attack when they had been killed.
Reigen didn't know his parents were dead.
This led Reigen to believe that man was evil.
After he left, he met with his brother and the others.
He saw how cruel the children were, and thought they were foolish to train for something they had just been given.
He began to think man was corrupt, and a plan arose in his head.
He knew that with the final stage of Rikugan, he could push and pull objects or people.
Reigen began to form a strange and twisted plan.
He would hold the world hostage with the sun.
His plan was to threaten the world to follow Reigen and his beliefs, eliminate the corrupt.
And if the majority refused, he planned to pull the sun into the earth and destroy everything.
There was one problem,
Reigen was weak.
He needed a massive boost of chakra and power to be able to do this, and he began to study.
He read of a horde of demons called Legion.
He thought that if he had collected the Legion, and sealed it within himself, he would have enough chakra to unlock the second, and third stages of Rikugan and have the power to pull the sun.
Reigen returned to his village, and began to look at people.
He didn't see human beings anymore, he saw demons.
Everyone is corrupt in some way.
He believed they were all fools, and evil.
He was disgusted with the world.

Reigen thought to himself as he laid in the field, looking at the moon, "If I could find one pure soul... Just one.. This world would be spared."
